Press Center: Ukrainian Armed Forces came under fire 32 times in one day
According to the press center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian servicemen were fired on 32 times by pro-Russian separatists on Saturday, as reported by Krym.Realii.
“After the work of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine and its travel to the permanent bases, Russian mercenaries increased their combat activities after 17:00 and continued to attack ATO [Ukrainian Armed Forces] positions. Nearly 32 shooting attacks were recorded, 31 of which were near Donetsk,” the press center stated.
It was reported that separatists fired on the strongholds near Avdiivka, Peski, Zaytsevo and Mayorsk using 82mm mortars.
Ukraine also recorded attacks in the Luhansk region near Triokhizbenka. Attacks on Ukrainian positions came to an end around midnight
Representatives of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic accused the Ukrainian military of firing on their positions in the outskirts of Donetsk.
The so-called Luhansk People’s Republic stated that Ukrainian soldiers fired on their positions near the village of Nizhnelozovoe.
