The leader of the Justice civil-political movement: The IMF will send special auditors to Ukraine

The leader of the Justice civil-political movement, Valentyn Nalyvaichenko announced on 112 TV channel that the IMF plans to send special auditors to Ukraine in the near future. “Auditors will check how previous loans were used and at the same time they will make certain that there was no corruption involved."

Nalyvaichenko also stressed that international and financial partners regard the fight against corruption in Ukraine as the main exhaustive condition for further cooperation with the country. "The IMF audit will arrive but before that, Ukrainian anti-corruption bodies should clean these stables, show that corruption cases are also being investigated in Ukraine," the leader of the Justice movement said.

Commenting on the searches of the National Bank of Ukraine, Nalyvaichenko said that the FBI is helping to investigate corruption in the NBU (National Bank of Ukraine).

"Our American partner, the FBI is cooperating with the NABU (National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine). I will say nothing more to avoid revealing their secrets. I will say that they are interested in the illegal use of offshore companies in the Virgin Islands, which [NBU Chairwoman Valeria] Gontaryeva or her close associates," he said.

At the same time he stressed that the National Bank is the national regulator of the cash and non-cash market of Ukraine. "But if [any corruption appears], well, that is what we are talking about. This is the destruction in principle of the state's monetary system," stressed Nalyvaichenko.
