An employee of the election headquarters of Navalny's opposition party was detained in Russia

Policemen detained Artem Kolchinsky, an employee of the election headquarters of Alexei Navalny in Moscow. According to OVD-Info, the activist was allegedly putting up leaflets, which Kolchinsky himself claims to be untrue.

On Monday, June 12, in dozens of cities in Russia, anti-corruption events are scheduled to take place. The organizers of the protests in the regions are associates of Navalny. They claimed that authorities have been pressuring them. For example, in Tula on Sunday, the organizer of the action on June 12, Dmitry Nikolaev was detained. In Stavropol, the local headquarters of Navalny had been attacked the day before.

Crimean supporters of the Russian opposition politician Aleksei Navalny rejected the idea of holding an anti-corruption rally in Simferopol on June 12 because of possible arrests as well.
