Poroshenko urges U.S. Congress to increase aid to Ukraine
President Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with a delegation of the U.S. Congress led by Harold Rogers, the head of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations, as reported on the web site of the Ukrainian President.

Media: More than 36,000 Russian mercenaries stationed in the Donbas
There are constantly 36,000 Russian mercenaries in the Donbas on a rotational basis, with weapons and equipment. Of them, 2900 are regular soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces (RAF),Ukrayinska Pravda reported with reference to the Crisis Media Center.
As of July 2017, in Eastern Ukraine there were soldiers of the 331st Guards Airborne Regiment, the 20th Motor Rifle Brigade (Volgograd), and the 7th Air Assault Brigade from Novorossiysk in Krasnodar Krai.

Ukraine considers it unacceptable that the University of Debrecen is awarding Russian President Vladimir Putin the title of “honorary citizen”. This was the conclusion of the article which Ukrainian Ambassador to Hungary Liubov Nepop sent to a Hungarian news outlet, Evropeyskaya Pravda reported.
