    Members of the Radical Party of Ukraine, along with the head of its parliamentary faction, Oleh Lyashko, presented to the Verkhovna Rada a draft bill on the restoration of Ukraine's status as a nuclear power.

    The bill provides for the abolition of the law "On the accession of Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons on July 1st, 1968", as well as the resumption of the country's right to nuclear weapons. The text of the document has not yet been published.
