    The coordinator of the Russian State Duma group on relations with the parliament of Syria Dmitry Sablin, arrived in Syria on Sunday and plans to invite Tartus Governor Safwan Abu Saad to visit annexed Sevastopol,  reports Russian Interfax news agency.

  • Syria reports another missile attack

    Syrian air defense systems have detected and destroyed missiles that were launched from the direction of Lebanon towards the city of Masyaf, reports Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). According to the agency, some of the missiles reached the ground facilities.

    SANA does not name a country that was behind the attack  but reminds that the air defense of the Syrian army has repeatedly repelled the attacks of Israel and the United States.

  • Media: Syrian air defense repelled a missile attack on military facilities in Hama province

    On the night from Thursday to Friday, Syrian air defenses repelled a missile attack on military facilities in the city of Masyaf in the Hama province, reports SANA news agency citing its military source.   • Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria attacked by drones for third time in a month

    Six drones belonging to the Syrian militants tried to attack the Russian Khmeimim Air Base. All  the drones were destroyed, no one was hurt, reports the Russian Defense Ministry.

  • Russia to open naval shipyard in Syria

    By the end of August, Russia’s Black Sea Fleet will have an operational shipyard at the Russian naval logistics point in Tartus, Syria,  TASS reports citing a source in the ship repair industry.

  • Radio interference linked to Russia over Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport disappears

    The GPS glitches that were occurring in the airspace over the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv have now disappeared, the Israeli Airports Authority announced in a statement.   • Russia resumes airstrikes on Syria

  • Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria comes under attack

    The Russian Defense Ministry reported that militants carried out an attack on the Russian Khmeimim airbase in Syria.
