Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said that the Georgian people face famine if relations between Kyiv and Tbilisi deteriorate because of his appointment to the post of Head of the National Reform Council of Ukraine.

The Russian pipe-laying vessel Akademik Cherskiy arrived in Germany to complete the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

In 2015, Russian hackers gained access to German Chancellor Angela Merkel's official computer and thousands of her official emails, Spiegel reported, citing investigators.
