Radio interference linked to Russia over Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport disappears
The GPS glitches that were occurring in the airspace over the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv have now disappeared, the Israeli Airports Authority announced in a statement. Take-offs and landings are now taking place normally and using their original routes. The warning to the crews of airliners taking off or landing at the airport has also been lifted.

Norway concerned about Russian military exercises in Arctic
Norwegian government expressed concern about the Russian strategic exercises Tsentr-2019 (Center-2019) which should start in late August in the Arctic. “Tsentr-2019 exercises are an alarming sign of the increasingly aggressive behavior of the Northern neighbor (Russia),” stated the Norwegian Defense Ministry on August 6 as cited by DW. Kyiv reports sharp decline in diesel fuel shipments from Russia
Shipments of diesel fuel from Russia to Ukraine will more or less halve in August, said Andriy Herus, the Ukrainian president’s representative to the Cabinet of Ministers, in a press conference on Tuesday.
“The amount coming through the pipeline will decline from around 200,000 to 100,000 tons,” Herus noted.
This is related to the increased tariffs on piped diesel. As of August 1, diesel fuel imported from Russia by pipeline has been subject to a special tariff of 3.75% of its customs value. …
