Belarusian President Lukashenko displeased by Gazprom’s gas price hike
At an awards ceremony yesterday, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the situation surrounding the price of Russian gas, in which Russia’s Gazprom earns “three times as much” from supplying fuel to Belarus as to Germany, is abnormal.
Commenting on the gas price negotiations, Lukashenko accused the Russian concern of earning three times as much in Belarus as in Germany. “Is this normal? It’s abnormal,” BelTA cites the president as saying.

Libyan National Army rejects Russian-Turkish ceasefire initiative
The Libyan National Army (LNA) under the command of Khalifa Haftar intends to continue fighting for Tripoli, despite the ceasefire initiative put forward by Russia and Turkey, Haftar’s command said in a statement.
According to the statement, the army welcomes the peace initiative, but the fighting will continue.

Poland’s parliament declares Germany and Soviet Union equally responsible for start of WWII
The lower house of Poland’s parliament has adopted a resolution which condemns the false and provocative statements by Russian senior government officials regarding Poland’s responsibility for unleashing World War II.
The Polish parliamentarians believe that such statements are designed to discredit Poland and to damage Russian-Polish relations.
“Relations between the countries cannot be built on lies and the falsification of history,” the document states.

Russia vows to complete construction of Nord Stream 2
Nord Stream 2’s operator company and the other companies supporting the project are continuing to work to have the pipeline commissioned as soon as possible, Izvestia reports, citing the operator company, Nord Stream 2 AG.
The company’s press service clarified that, while the Swiss pipe-laying company Allseas has stopped working on the project, roughly 2,300 km of the 2,460 km gas pipeline have already been laid on the bottom of the Baltic Sea.

Ukraine repels Russian reconnaissance ship off Azov coast
A Ukrainian naval helicopter spotted a Russian coast guard ship in the Sea of Azov which was collecting reconnaissance data, Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation headquarters reported on Facebook.
“During planned work to illuminate the underwater and surface situation, a helicopter from the Naval Aviation Brigade spotted at a distance of around 10 nautical miles a ship belonging to the Russian FSB coast guard which was gathering intelligence,” the report states.
