Mayor of Paris dedicates the all-night art festival to Oleh Sentsov
Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo announced on Twitter that the Nuit Blanche (White Night) night-time art festival is dedicated to the Ukrainian film director and the prisoner in the Russian penal colony, Oleh Sentsov.

EU demands Sentsov’s release and medical treatment
The EU is demanding that Russia “not only provide Oleh Sentsov with quick and appropriate medical treatment, but also immediately release him, together with the other Ukrainians being held illegally in Russia and Crimea”.
A statement to this effect was made by Maja Kocijančič, spokeswoman for the European External Action Service, on the department’s official website on October 7.

Ukraine plans to close part of the Azov Sea during the military exercises
Part of the Azov Sea near the Ukrainian city of Berdyansk and Yalta village in the Donetsk region will be closed from October 9 to 12 because of the exercises of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, journalist Andrei Klimenko announced on Facebook.
