EU Commissioner calls on Russia to lift restrictions on transit of Ukrainian goods

US and Ukraine to conduct joint naval drills
According to information released on the Defense Ministry’s website, Ukraine and USA will conduct joint naval drills called Sea Breeze 2016 beginning in Ukraine on July 18.
“The topic of current naval drills is the conduct of multinational operations on security in the crisis region,” the Ministry of Defense noted. Maneuvers will take place in the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions as well as in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.

Captured Russian serviceman acknowledges presence of Russian officers in the Donbas
Russian servicemen captured on July 11 in the Donbas as a result of the fire fight with the Ukrainian forces acknowledged that Russian military advisors are currently working in the so-called Dontesk and Luhansk People’s Republics.

Poroshenko: Ukraine has fulfilled 95 percent of the Minsk agreements
Ukraine has fulfilled almost all of its obligations with regard to the Minsk Agreements. This was said on the 11th of July by the country’s president, Petro Poroshenko, after a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
According to Poroshenko, Kiev has fulfilled 95% of all political commitments and 100% of all security obligations. He also said that in order for the political process to begin, Russia has to fulfill the security criteria as detailed in the agreements.
