25 top tax officials from the time of Yanukovych arrested during special operation in Ukraine
On May 24, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPU) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) carried out a massive anti-corruption operation. After searches, 25 former high ranking regional officials of the Ministry of Revenues and Duties from 15 eastern and southern regions, as well as from Kyiv, were arrested. Ukrainian court has recognized the nationalization of PrivatBank as 'partially illegal'
On May 17, the Kyiv District Administrative Court recognized the nationalization of Ukraine's largest privately owned bank, PrivatBank, which took place on the night of December 18, as partially illegal. Ukraine will issue residence permit to foreign investors
On Tuesday, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the whole of bill No. 4541 on the second reading. The bill is designed to reduce barriers to attracting foreign investment. 239 deputies voted for it.
One of the regulations of this bill provides for the issuance of residential permits for investors. To get one, an investor must own or control a stake in a Ukrainian legal entity, valued at a minimum of 100,000 euros.
