Russia conducts snap combat readiness check of its Black Sea fleet in the Crimea
According to Russia’s Interfax news agency, the Command of Russia’s Southern Military District has begun the combat readiness check of the Black Sea Fleet in the Crimea.
Coastal and naval units of the Black Sea Fleet were put into the high readiness state, Interfax reports citing the press service of the Southern Military District.
Anti-submarine ships and minesweepers sailed to the Black as part of the exercise. In addition, the coastal units of the fleet were put into combat state.

Peskov: There are no preconditions for another Normandy Quartet meeting
The Russian side believes that Ukraine does not show any will to fulfill the Minsk agreements.
The Press Secretary for Russian President Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Peskov, believes that there are currently no preconditions for a new meeting of the leaders of the Normandy Quartet, as reported by the Russian RIA Novosti news agency.
Peskov noted that even though the “Normandy Four” states would like to have this meeting there are not preconditions for it.
