  • Ukrainians detained in Russia will receive $200 monthly

    Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree that pays $200 every month to Ukrainians detained in Russia. The amount of payment will be counted based on triple subsistence level. The payment scheme is named after the Ukrainian dissident, fighter against Russian language in Ukraine Levko Lukyanenko.

    The right to receive such payments will be given to “Ukrainian citizens who are illegally detained by Russia.”

    Lithuania expanded “the blacklist” of Russian citizens in connection with the incident in the Kerch Strait.

    The country’s Migration Department has added twenty people to the “black list”, reports the news agency BNS.

  • Russian Foreign Minister denies the possible release of Ukrainian sailors before a court sentence

    Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that the Ukrainian sailors captured near the Kerch Strait won’t be released until they receive a court sentence.
