The leaders of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland have signed a roadmap agreement with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and Vice-President Maros Sefcovic to synchronize their energy networks with that of continental Europe, the EC announced on its website. In an interview with the Austrian newspaper Der Standard, the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker stated that the European Union should maintain a dialogue with Russia even after the Russians were accused of cyber-attacks.
