Belarus company begins drilling the second well for Ukrainian hydrocarbon deposits
Experts of Belorusneft Production Association have begun drilling the second well on Ukraine’s hydrocarbon deposits, BELTA news agency informs. The Number 43 exploratory well is being constructed over the Semyrnkivsky gas condensate field at a depth of 6,572 meters.

Russia bans milk imports from Belarus
On Monday, February 26, Russia banned imports of Belarusian milk, cream, whey and other dairy products, as reported by the press service of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (FSVPS).

The EU extends embargo on arms exports to Belarus
The Council of the European Union officially extended the sanctions against Belarus for arms sales and exports of goods that could be used for internal repression. It also extended an entry ban to four people.

The first deputy chairman of the Supreme Court of Belarus, Valery Kalinkovich, stated that Courts in Belarus sentenced five people to death in 2017, reports Deutsche Welle.
