Russia to determine its own credit rating
The Russian rating agency ACRA will be the first of the national agencies to start publishing Russia’s sovereign rating, an informed source told Interfax. The information was later confirmed by ACRA’s press service.
At present, the agency is consulting with officials and discussing issues that have arisen with experts in the rating process, the source told Interfax.

Head of Russian national rating agency fired for pessimistic views
Yekaterina Trofimova will be stepping down from her position as the head of ACRA, the largest national rating agency in Russia that was founded by the Central Bank in 2015.
The dismissal of Trofimova, who has headed ACRA since its creation, was announced by Karl Johansson, chairman of the company’s board of directors.
