Russia hits ISIS with missiles launched from a submarine
Russia has brought in submarines to the military operations in Syria.Russian submarine, Rostov-on-Don, fired cruise missiles at Al-Raqqah, the stronghold of ISIS – reports Russian RBK referring to a sources in the Russian Ministry of Defence. The submarine, transitioning from the Russian Northern Fleet to Novorossiysk, launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the eastern Mediterranean. Increased risk of renewed fighting in Eastern Ukraine
The situation in the East of Ukraine remains tense. Militants shelled Ukrainian positions 25 times in the last 24 hours. The majority of the attacks occurred in Donetsk area. Towns of Marinka, Troitskoe, Verhnetoretskoe, Krasnogorovka, Peskov and Avdeevka were shelled with anti-aircraft systems, mortars, grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
