    Russian military helicopter Mi-24 was accidentally shot down by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

    "The Azerbaijani side apologizes to the Russian side in connection with this tragic incident, which is accidental and was not directed against the Russian side," the statement reads.

    On Sunday, November 8, more than a thousand people were detained at peaceful protests in Belarus.
