Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, the prime minister’s press service said. The parties discussed the situation in the region and agreed to hold a working meeting in Russia “in the near future”. 

The Kremlin’s announcement about the telephone call between Putin and Netanyahu does not specify the exact date of the meeting.

The former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, in an interview with LIGA.net, stated that Belarus faces the threat of annexation by Russia.

The Estonian parliament will appeal to the government with a proposal to introduce individual sanctions against four high-ranking Russian officials who are deemed responsible for Russia’s attack on Ukrainian ships in the Kerch Strait.
