OSCE calls on Russia to stop recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia
The General Committee on Political Affairs and Security of Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA) adopted the Georgian resolution calling on Russia to cancel the decision to recognize the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
Fifty representatives of national delegations supported the document, five opposed and nine representatives abstained, reports TASS news agency.

For the first time in history Ukraine receives oil from the US
The first batch of oil from the USA arrived at the port of the Ukrainian city of Odesa. According to the press service of the port, 75 thousand tons of Bakken grade oil was purchased by PJSC Ukrtatnafta and will be processed at the Kremenchuk oil refinery.

Russia considers using decommissioned ballistic missiles for satellite launches
Russian State Corporation for Space Activities Roscosmos is considering the possibility of using decommissioned missile systems to launch civilian satellites into orbit, said the head of the Corporation Dmitry Rogozin.
