    The UN has discontinued the World Food Program (WFP) in the Donbas, as was stated by international analyst and former spokesperson of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, Michael Bociurkiw.

  • Ukrainian military capture separatist fighter during fight near Shyrokyne

    The Ukrainian Armed Forces detected and engaged into fight with a subversive armed group of pro-Russian separatists near the town of Shyrokyne, the press service of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed forces reported.

    On the night of January 20, unknown suspects attempted to attack the Ukrainian Embassy in the Greek capital of Athens, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin reported on Twitter.   • Ukrainian Parliament adopts a bill allowing participation of foreign troops in military exercises in 2018

    The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has approved the admission of foreign armed forces into Ukraine in 2018 to participate in six multinational exercises.

    235 MPs supported bill No 7428, whereas the minimum required number of support votes is 226.
