In the Russian city of Novoshakhtinsk (Rostov Oblast), a Russian passport center has been opened to service the residents of the territory of the Luhansk region which is under control of pro-Russian militants. Mine accident in LPR takes the lives of 17 miners
Seventeen people were killed in an accident that took place at the Schidkarbon mine in Yurivka, located in the so-called “LPR”, TASS reported, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.

Putin replaced overseer of Donbas, Abkhazia and South Ossetia
Russian President Vladimir Putin replaced the head of the presidential directorate, supervisor of the DPR, LPR as well as Georgian breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia. According to Putin’s decree, Aleksey Filatov was appointed to replace Oleg Govorun.
