Saakashvili's Office: 4 deported Georgians allegedly flown to Tbilisi from Ukraine never arrived in Georgia

The plane, which was supposed to fly 4 deported Georgian citizens from Ukraine, flew from the Kyiv airport, but did not land in Tbilisi, stated the member of the party "Rukh Novykh Syl", MP Yuri Derevyanko.

"The relatives of four Georgian citizens Tamaz Shavshishvili, Zurab Tsintsadze, Vano Nadiradze and Mamuk Abshidze who were illegally kidnapped in Kyiv on Friday still do not know where they are and nobody knows whether they are still alive, since the plane of the National Guard, where they could be, did not land in Tbilisi," press service of the " Rukh of New forces" party quotes Derevyanko  as saying.

According to him, the day before, he learned that four Georgian citizens detained on Friday in the city of Ukrainka could be taken by the National Guard plane to Tbilisi.

"However, the night passed, and the plane of the National Guard, which flew from the airport Zhulyany at 17:15, did not land in Georgia. In Georgia, since the yesterday’s evening, many journalists are waiting at the airport to meet the kidnapped people, among whom there is also the journalist of "Rustavi 2", the People's Deputy informed.

Derevyanko also appealed to the President Petro Poroshenko, the Prosecutor General Yuri Lutsenko, the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak, and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov with a demand to immediately provide information about the location of the detained Georgian citizens.

In his turn, former Deputy General Prosecutor of Ukraine David Sakvarelidze writes that the detainees were beaten and something could have gone wrong. He did not exclude that someone could be killed.

“I want to inform everyone that kidnapped guys are still kept in isolation. There is information that they were severely beaten. It is also evidenced by the large amount of blood that we’ve seen in the apartment. Perhaps, that's why they are still being hidden and they are not in a hurry to deport them. Most likely, they are in some inhuman conditions. In addition, I want to note that Vano Nadiradze has a serious form of diabetes. I do not even want to admit such a thought, but maybe someone is even killed, as it was once with Georgiy Gongadze. And now the authorities do not know what to do and how to get out of this situation. I do not want to inflate unjustifiably or frighten someone, but all the facts and circumstances so far indicate that the situation is critical.

We really need people's support now! That’ why, I ask all not indifferent Ukrainians to help us and to respond to this absolute lawlessness!”

As previously reported, the former head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, leader of the party "Rukh Novykh Syl" (“Movement of New Forces”) Mikheil Saakashvili declared that on November 17, the security officials had detained several Georgians in Kyiv.
