Ukrainian ambassadors to hold a meeting in Donbas

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin and Ukrainian ambassadors went to the east of the country to hold a meeting on August 27-28, the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs announced on his Facebook page.

"Morning. 80 representatives of the diplomatic service are flying to the Donbas in a good mood,” the message said. Klimkin also created the following hashtag "meetingofambassadors -2018".

Andrei Melnik , Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, announced on his Twitter page that representatives of the diplomatic service went to the war zone accompanied by military forces.

Earlier, on August 4, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page that at the end of the month, there will be a meeting of heads of foreign diplomatic institutions of the country. He noted that in a state of emergency, Ukraine needed to create a "powerful diplomatic army." In addition, he wrote that the meeting will raise questions about the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
