Russia sends a shipment of armored vehicles to Syria

Telegram channel Directorate 4 reports that Russia is sending more military equipment to Syria.

According to Directorate 4, the dry cargo ship Syrian Express and the ferry Alexander Tkachenko are headed toward a Russian base in the city of Tartus.

Armored vehicles and military trucks were seen on the deck of the dry cargo ship.

"In addition to Ural-4320 and Kamaz-5350 trucks, there is a 03160 Raptor-class patrol boat.  This high-speed boat is designed for patrolling the coastal zone. Several boats of this type are serving in the Black Sea Fleet in the Crimea. Tugboats were also seen on board from the PMP Floating Bridge," the channel said.

In addition, the Alligator-class landing ship Nikolay Filchenkov has also been sent to Syria. Armored personnel carriers and armored GAZ Tigr Infantry Mobility Vehicles with trucks were seen on board the ship.

At the same time, most of the machinery and equipment is held in the inner compartments of ships.

According to Directorate 4, this is the most considerable shipment of equipment to Syria. The channel predicts that another delivery of armored vehicles will soon leave for Syria.
