Putin dismisses 11 generals from different agencies

Russian President Vladimir Putin has dismissed 11 generals. The corresponding document was published on the official website of legal information on April 6.

In particular, by the decree of the Russian president, five generals of the Investigative Committee (IC), four generals of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one general from the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Ministry of Emergencies were removed from office.

The following generals have been dismissed:

Deputy Chief of the Main Department for ensuring traffic safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Pavel Bugayev, Head of the Research Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service Andrey Bykov, Head of the Ural Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Guk, Head of the Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Shamsutdin Dagirov, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the IC for the Sverdlovsk Oblast Valery Zadorin, Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the IC for the Krasnoyarsk Krai Igor Napalkov, the Minister of Internal Affairs for Udmurtia Alexander Pervukhin, Head of the Investigative Directorate of the IC of the Russian Federation for Belgorod Oblast Alexander Sergeyev, Head of Investigative Directorate of the IC for Penza Oblast, Oleg Troshin, Head of Investigative Directorate of the IC for Pskov Oblast, Oleg Tushmalov, deputy head of the central board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Volgograd region Vitaly Shevchenko.

Putin appointed several officials to various posts in the IC and the Interior Ministry within the same decree.
