Poland to build high-speed highway to the Ukrainian border

According to a Facebook post by the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) with reference to the General Directorate for National Roads and Highways of Poland, Warsaw has unveiled plans to build a high-speed highway called the S12, which will join the Yagodin checkpoint on the border with Ukraine.

The highway will be 75 km in length, have two lanes on each side, and end in the Polish city of Piaski. Along the road infrastructure, facilities such as gas stations and restaurants will be built to accommodate highway traffic.

According to Ukravtodor, Ukraine also plans to eventually reconstruct the highway M-07 from Kovel to the Yagodin checkpoint.
