Ukrainian soldiers to participate in NATO exercise in Georgia

The Ukrainian military will take part in the NATO multinational military exercise Noble Partner-2017, which will be held in July in Georgia. This was reported by the press service of the Georgian Ministry of Defense.

Noble Partner, which follows the motto “Strength in partnership,” is Georgia’s third such exercise. It is expected to be conducted on a larger scale this year.

In addition to Georgia and Ukraine, nine other NATO member and partner countries will take part in the exercises: the United States, Britain, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Romania, Slovenia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The day before the press release, planners held a conference at the base of the 4th Mechanized Infantry Brigade in Vaziani.

Previously, it was reported that at the beginning of March in Norway, the major NATO exercise Joint Viking 2017 was held near the border with Russia. Eight thousand servicemen participated in the maneuvers.
