Russian and Syrian war planes hit areas of Damascus using incendiary bombs

As a result of the airstrikes of  Russian and Syrian air forces on the areas of Damascus controlled by the Syrian opposition there are multiple deaths of civilians, reports Turkish Andalu news agency citing sources in the Syrian Civil Defense.

The district of Harasta  in the north east of Damascus came under heavy bombardment by the Assad forces. Three people were reportedly killed and 20 wounded as a result of these airstrikes. The wounded have been transported to field hospitals.

The Russian and Syrian air forces also struck the residential areas of Eastern Ghouta and Duma in the suburbs of Damascus leaving many civilians dead and injured.

The agency reports that the war planes used incendiary bombs to carry out the airstrikes. The units of the Syrian Civil Defense are currently trying to put out the fires.
