Putin says he wants a successful finish to his career

The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, told employees of LLC Eterno in Chelyabinsk that he hopes to complete his career successfully and that he dreams of travelling once he retires. Putin’s statement was a response to a question about what his dream was. It was also a follow-up to a story by one of the plant’s younger employees about intentions to build a successful career at the enterprise.

“I want to successfully finish my career,” Putin said, drawing laughter in the workshop. He was also asked whether there was something he had never done before or if there was a hobby that he would like to try. The Russian President admitted that he was fond of traveling.

“Today, all my travels are limited to arrival to airport, movement to a room and then returning to the airport. Here it seems that I traveled somewhere. Of course, I would like to travel in another way. I would like to see nature and some historic landmarks,” Putin shared.

On November 24, the Russian President stated at the prize award ceremony held by the Russian Geographic Association that "Russia’s borders do not end anywhere". He then added that it was a joke.

Putin previously stated that he has not yet decided whether he will run in the 2018 presidential elections. In his interview with Bloomberg, he stated that the future President of the Russian Federation should be young and mature. On October 7, Vladimir Putin celebrated his 64th birthday.
