OECD calls on Ukraine to speed up anti-corruption reforms

In a recent report published on its website, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) called for Ukraine to speed up the implementation of anti-corruption reforms.

The organization recommends that Ukraine remove obstacles that impede effective implementation of electronic declaration.

It is reported that OECD will continue to closely monitor the implementation of this recommendation during the next monitoring round regarding Ukraine, which began in October 2016.

Moreover, the organization recommends that Ukraine improve the implementation of the corporate responsibility legislation and also adopt the Administrative Procedure Act without delay.

The organization noted that, although Ukraine has achieved significant progress in the fight against corruption, it still faces problems in implementing important tools in that regard.

In 2015, Ukraine signed a road map for the implementation of a memorandum regarding enhancing implementation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
