Media: Zakharchenko’s associates flee to Russia after his assassination

Associates of the killed separatist leader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko started fleeing from Donetsk to Moscow, reported the Ukrainian news program TSN, citing sources in Ukrainian intelligence.

According to the intelligence information, Zakharchenko’s advisers Alexander Kazakov and another associate with the nom de guerre “Sever” have fled from Donetsk to Moscow. “The Minister of revenues and taxes of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Timofeev, aka Tashkent, who was injured in the explosion in the Donetsk restaurant Separ, also allegedly moved to Moscow, " TSN reports.

Earlier, the Prosecutor’s Office of the so-called DPR called “illegitimate” the appointment of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the DPR, Dmitry Trapeznikov as an acting Head of the self-proclaimed republic. Denis Pushilin was appointed the new Head of the DPR.
