Media: Russia relocates its military and their families to the Crimea

Over the course of three years, sixty thousand Russian military personnel, a large portion of whom are officers of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), have settled in the Crimea, reports Krym.Realii.

Employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation are being resettled in governmental residences on the territory of the Crimea. New buildings with opportune locations have already appeared in Sevastopol, Armyansk and Dzhankoy.

According to Mykola Malomuzh, former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the mobilization readiness of the FSB officers, which is a factor in total control over the Crimea, is accounted for in the housing design.

The Crimean authorities spent about 100 million dollars on the housing. In the future, similar residential quarters are planned for construction in Simferopol, Yalta and Kerch.
