Erdogan invites Poroshenko to visit Turkey

Andolu news agency reported that President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will pay an official visit to Turkey at the invitation of the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. There, he will take part at the seventh meeting of the High Level Strategic Cooperation Council Turkey-Ukraine, which will be held in Ankara on November 3.

Diplomatic sources in Ankara report that Mejlis’ representatives of the Crimean Tatar people will also take part in the meeting. The parties will discuss the signing a free trade treaty, strengthening security and fight against terrorism. The situation of the Crimean Tatars in the Crimea will be also discussed at the meeting.

On October 26, Poroshenko personally met with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. Representatives of Ukraine and Belarus signed a readmission agreement.
