Ukrainian journalist: Khodakovsky directly threatens DPR head Zakharchenko and prepares a coup

Former commander of the separatist Vostok battalion Alexander Khodakovsky directly threatens the head of the DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) Alexander Zakharchenko and prepares a coup following the example of the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR, Igor Kornet, in Luhansk, wrote Journalist Yuri Butusov on his Facebook page.

"The situation in Donetsk is not much better [than in LPR]," Khodakovsky says about Zakharchenko's leadership. If in Luhansk the main opponent of Plotnitsky became the detachments of Igor Kornet, then the main public opponent of Zakharchenko in Donetsk is Khodakovsky. He has the influence and loyal commanders in the 100th brigade of the Republican Guard, subordinate to Zakharchenko, as well as in the 11th motorized rifle regiment and in several battalions of territorial defense. That is, Khodakovsky has an armed resource behind him," the journalist said.

According to Butosov, Khodakovsky openly accused Zakharchenko of giving orders to storm the MGB [Ministry of State Security in LPR] in Luhansk.

"And he [Khodakovsky] specifically in his statement emphasizes the mental inadequacy of Zakharchenko – “Zakharchenko's forces received a command to storm the MGB [Ministry of State Security in LPR]!’ He wants to show that Zakharchenko is threatening the security system, which is controlled directly by the "Moscow curators" - MGB of the DPR is just a branch of Russian special services. Obviously, Khodakovsky received permission from the Russians to step up open and direct criticism of Zakharchenko. The situation in Donetsk is heating up," Butusov writes.

On November 21, in the separatist-controlled Luhansk,  conflict broke out between Igor Plotnitsky and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR Igor Kornet. A day earlier, Plotnitsky dismissed Kornet. However Kornet refused to leave his post. The head of the LPR accused Kornet of "seizing power by force". On November 23, Plotnitsky arrived in Moscow.
