  • First Nord Stream 2 pipes laid in Germany

    The first pipes have been laid as part of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project near the German coast of the  Baltic Sea, reported the German company Uniper, one of the European partners of Gazprom. The project was started in late July, said Uniper’s financial director Christopher Delbruck in a presentation the company’s website.

    The Naval command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has unveiled its development strategy for the Navy until 2035, which will enable it to oppose Russian aggression at sea.

  • Lawyer: Sentsov’s health worsened

    Oleh Sentsov, a Ukrainian director imprisoned in the penitentiary of Labytnangi in the Russian Federation, is in a poor health. Severely decreased hemoglobin has led to anemia. The prisoner has a very low pulse – 40 beats per minute, reports Hromadske news outlet with a reference to Dmitry Dinze, his lawyer.

  • Ukrainian Armed Forces to shoot down drones over military compounds and training ranges

    Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will shoot down any drones flying over the location of military units and exercises, stated the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

    “All unmanned aerial vehicles observed in the areas where exercises are conducted, over the military units, facilities and test sites will be shot down,” the statement reads. Moreover, the General Staff stated that individuals who launch drones will be detained and held responsible.
