Canada extends military training mission in Ukraine
Canada has decided to extend its Unifier training mission for the Ukrainian military until 2019. The Ambassador of Ukraine in Canada, Andriy Shevchenko, announced the decision on Twitter.
"Yes! Canada has announced the extension of the Unifier military training mission. Two years (until March 2019), about 200 military personnel," he wrote.
The Canadian Foreign Minister, Chrystia Freeland, and Minister of National Defense, Harjit Singh Sajjan, made a corroborating statement.

The Hague started to review Ukraine’s lawsuit against Russia
On the 6th of March the International Court of Justice in the Hague held the first hearings in Ukraine’s lawsuit against Russia, which Kyiv filed in the middle of January 2017. Ukraine is accusing Russia of violating two conventions – the Terrorist Financing Convention and the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The hearings will take place between the 6th and the 9th of March. They have started with a presentation by the Ukrainian side.

Kyiv: separatists shelling disrupted power supply to Avdiivka in eastern Ukraine
According to the statement issued by the Command of Ukrainian Armed Forces in eastern Ukraine, the town of Avdiivka, was left once again without electricity as a result of shelling from heavy weapons by the separatists.

Ukrainian National Council says that TV tower broadcasting to Crimea will run at full capacity by April
A member of Ukraine’s National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting, Sergei Kostinsky stated on UA TV that the TV tower at Chonhar will run at full capacity by the end of March, Krym.Realii reported.
“Currently, the TV tower at Chonhar is operating in test mode. However, it will begin to work in normal mode this month. All four radio stations should become operational as of April,” Kostinsky reported.
