  • 51 people convicted in 2017 for undermining Ukraine's security

    51 suspects were charged and convicted of having committed crimes against the foundations of Ukraine's national security in the first half of 2017. The relevant information was reported to UNN news agency by the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine. Another three suspects were acquitted of the same charges.

  • Ukrainian President terminated citizenship of 5,200 people over one year

    Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko terminated the citizenship of 5,200 people in 2017, according to data from the Presidential Administration.

    Decrees on termination of citizenship were issued on the grounds of the withdrawal from citizenship for 4,296 persons, loss of citizenship for 47 persons, and international treaties for 825 persons.
